Canal du Rhône à Sète – Explore the ramparts of the medieval walled city of Aigues-Mortes in the heart of the great saltfields of Les Salins du Midi. At Carnon or Palavas escape to the beach for sunshine and swimming. Enjoy panoramic views as you cruise across the Etang de Thau with its oyster beds glinting in the sun and take a picnic in the company of the docile white horses that roam the plains of the Camargue. Visit the famous Noilly Prat cellars in Marseillan and spend time exploring Agde, one of France’s oldest towns and well known for its waterjousting festivals.

Canal du Rhône à Sète – The 13th century fortified town of Aigues-Mortes remains largely intact and is a joy to explore. A vibrant centre for summer festivities, moor close to the ramparts for an unrivalled view. Tie up in the town of Carnon and take a short walk to the beautiful beaches. Head towards La Grande Motte on the Etang du Mauguio where the pink flamingos gather in their thousands. Sip some cool Muscat in the shaded alleys of Frontignan, and enjoy an evening promenade at Sète before dining on traditional seafood pie at one of the many waterfront restaurants.
